We
believe that this hobby is more than just the building of
models. We enjoy the friends you can meet from around the world,
learning the history of what we build and trading ideas and ways
of how we build. Our group always welcomes new faces so feel
free to drop by at any meeting. Whatever your age, skill level
or favorite subject the warm welcome will be waiting.
GMM members set up a educational display at the local district level pine wood derby race. Around 200 Cub Scouts where present as well as parents and siblings and lots of questions were answered about building models as well the history and information about the subjects. March 8th, 2008 members spent the Saturday afternoon at Cumming,Ga Hobby Town USA helping with a Make N Take. Several kids got the chance to build and take home a model of a Blue Angels F-18 and for some it was their first and hopefully not last model. More photos in the photo gallery.
