Camp Merrill Open House Display May 2007

Every May the Army Ranger training camp hosts an open house for people to come in and see why Ranger lead the way. Along with the various displays and demonstrations put on by the Rangers, we were invited to set up a table of models. Perry figured out that for some reason the ground vehicles were more popular than planes with this crowd. Next year there might be some planes with Army on them. Click Thumbnail For Photos.

Toccoa Military Museum Display October 6,2007

Every year the military Museum in Toccoa, GA has a reunion weekend for the veterans who trained at the airborne camp at Curahee Mountain. Most known of the troops was Easy Company featured in Band of Brothers.  Members attended last year to donate a diorama and were invited this year to set up a display of models in the museum.  Two tables of models had visitors stopping all day long asking all kinds of questions and to our privilege sharing their stories from their own time in service not only from WW2 but other conflicts as well. It was time well worth spent and we look forward to hopefully being able to return next year to the great event. Click Thumbnail For Photos.
